Young Denji Teams Up with Pochita to Fight Demons
The highly anticipated upcoming anime adaptation of the smash-hit manga series Chainsaw Man has found a home on Crunchyroll. The streaming giant announced that the anime will be available exclusively on its platform. The series is scheduled to premiere in fall 2022.
Chainsaw Man follows the story of Denji, a young man orphaned and left for dead. Desperate, he makes a pact with Pochita, the Chainsaw Devil, and is reborn as a hybrid being capable of transforming his body into chainsaws.
Joining Denji on his quest to fight demons is a colorful cast of characters, including Makima, a mysterious woman who oversees the Public Safety Devil Hunters; Aki Hayakawa, a skilled devil hunter with a troubled past; and Power, a bloodthirsty demon with a childlike demeanor.
Crunchyroll released a teaser trailer for the anime, which showcases the show's visually stunning animation and action-packed sequences. The series is produced by animation studio MAPPA, known for its work on Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Dororo.
Chainsaw Man is one of the most popular manga series in Japan, with over 12 million copies in circulation. It has been praised for its unique and engaging story, memorable characters, and stunning artwork.
