Apples Next Generation Iphone Lineup Is Rumored To Bring Several Significant Changes Including Larger Screens For The Iphone 16 Pro And Improved Cameras For All Models

iPhone 16: Bigger Screens, New Cameras Expected in September 2024

Apple's next-generation iPhone lineup is rumored to bring several significant changes, including larger screens for the iPhone 16 Pro and improved cameras for all models.

Here's a rundown of the expected changes:

Display: The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to feature 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively, up from 6.06 inches and 6.68 inches on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are likely to stick with the same 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes as the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.

Camera: All iPhone 16 models are rumored to get improved cameras, with the Pro models expected to get the biggest upgrades. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could feature a new 48-megapixel main camera, up from 12 megapixels on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The telephoto camera could also get a boost, with a 10x optical zoom lens replacing the current 3x zoom lens. The standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus could get a new 12-megapixel main camera with a wider aperture for improved low-light photography.

Other features: The iPhone 16 lineup is also rumored to get a new A16 Bionic chip, which should provide a performance boost over the A15 Bionic chip in the iPhone 15 lineup. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could also get a new titanium frame, which would make them more durable than the current models. All iPhone 16 models are expected to feature USB-C ports, replacing the Lightning ports on the iPhone 15 lineup.
